1. About Guided

Guided is an AI-powered build wizard operated by Groundwork ("we," "us," or "our"), accessible at guided.gwork.tech. Guided helps everyday people — small business owners, freelancers, creators, and operators — use AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and build practical workflows, even without any technical background.

Guided provides step-by-step guidance through a conversational AI interface ("John"), real-time screen-share assistance, build flow saving, and related features described on our website.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, submitting your email address, or otherwise using Guided, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you are using Guided on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts and Authentication

Guided uses passwordless authentication. When you provide your email address, we send you a one-time sign-in code. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your sign-in codes confidential
• Ensuring that access to your email account is secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately at hello@gwork.tech if you suspect unauthorized access

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are inactive for an extended period, or are associated with fraudulent activity.

4. Subscription Plans and Pricing

Guided is offered under three subscription tiers:

• Free: 1 guided build session. No credit card required. Access to the full John conversation experience and step-by-step build plan.
• Builder ($29/month or $24/month billed annually): Unlimited sessions, unlimited flow saves, multi-platform builds, priority guidance, flow replay and sharing, and email recap after each build.
• Pro ($79/month or $66/month billed annually): Everything in Builder, plus enterprise and compliance builds, unlimited client seats, white-label deployment, API access, and priority Slack support.

Prices are listed in USD. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected).

• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
• Refund policy: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied within 30 days of your initial subscription payment, contact us at hello@gwork.tech and we will issue a full refund. No questions asked.
• Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and may suspend access to paid features until payment is resolved.
• Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or fees associated with your subscription.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Guided only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including but not limited to fraud, harassment, or violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to abuse, manipulate, or exploit John's AI guidance to generate harmful, misleading, or illegal content
• Use Guided to build automations that deceive, defraud, or harm other people
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract Guided's underlying AI models, prompts, or proprietary systems
• Use automated scripts or bots to access Guided in ways that circumvent subscription limits
• Resell or sublicense access to Guided without written permission (Pro plan allows client builds; see plan details)
• Upload, transmit, or store content that violates any third party's intellectual property rights
• Use Guided to create or deploy systems that violate the terms of service of any third-party platform (e.g., Zapier, OpenAI, Google)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines, with or without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

What you own: You retain full ownership of everything you build using Guided — the automations, workflows, prompts, and tools you create by following John's guidance are yours. We claim no intellectual property rights over the output of your builds.

What we own: Guided, including the John AI persona, conversation interface, platform knowledge base, wizard flow system, brand assets, and all underlying software, are owned by or licensed to Groundwork. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, source code, or proprietary systems.

Feedback: If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback about Guided, you grant us a royalty-free, worldwide license to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

8. AI Guidance Disclaimer

Guided's AI may suggest tools, platforms, workflows, and strategies. However:

• AI recommendations are based on general knowledge and may not apply to your specific situation
• Pricing, availability, and features of third-party platforms change frequently — always verify current information directly with those platforms
• For any decisions involving legal compliance (including GDPR, HIPAA, or other regulations), financial matters, or medical information, consult a qualified professional
• We do not guarantee that any automation or workflow built using Guided's guidance will achieve the results you expect

9. Third-Party Services

Guided may guide you to use third-party services such as Zapier, Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT), Google, Stripe, SendGrid, and many others. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Groundwork is not responsible for the availability, pricing, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• GUIDED IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT
• GROUNDWORK AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF GUIDED
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Groundwork and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of Guided, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using Guided at any time. You may request account deletion by emailing hello@gwork.tech.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Guided at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any prepaid amounts on a pro-rata basis.

Upon termination, your right to access Guided ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email (if you have an account) or by posting a notice on the website. Your continued use of Guided after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of King County, Washington, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to first contact us at hello@gwork.tech and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
